The Internet allows access to inexpensive digital media and storage. Instead of being limited to your own facilities and resources, you are granted access to a vast network of facilities and resources, some for free.

The Main Street Project is a grassroots cultural organizing, media justice and economic development initiative working to help rural communities face today's realities with hope. We provide creative and practical tools to give residents of all ages, cultures, economic and immigration status the opportunity to more fully participate in all aspects of community life.

As with any movement, we need people to work with us and help get the momentum going. The Main Street Project is meant to help communities across the nation to get involved and working with other communities.
